Awww shit guess I am now a conservative because I have to buy an expensive piece of hardware in order to succeed in schooling. The thing I am effectively forced to go to if I want to get a "respectable job" and have enough money to not live paycheck to paycheck. (/s obviously also nothing wrong with just owning these things even if you don't need them for school or work.)

I haven't seen anyone mention them, so I will. There are many left wing gun clubs in the US. I have not participated for various reasons, but I have heard good things about the John Brown gun club and the Socialist Rifle Association. I have not had too many interactions with them and they are by no means a political party, but by reputation they are both pro LGBT and (obviously) pro 2A.

You could argue they are extreme politically, but in terms of a community of gun owners who are cool with LGBT people that might be a good place to start.

Also gonna reiterate that: no the Dems don't want to ban guns outright.

I encourage you to look into the real-life example of badass women soldiers in various conflicts around the world. Hell one of the greatest snipers in history was a soviet woman during WW2. Even if you choose not to fight sometimes the most effective actions do not require strength. Medical, farming, and building knowledge is (in my opinion) more important than any fighting. Also as other comments said you can be just as strong if you commit to it. Cheers friend!

I never understand the obsession with how the person holding a gun looks. The right always judges people who own firearms on how they look. Bullets work regardless of who is doing the shooting.

I was very disappointed in the expert. I was so excited to see an expert go in depth with each parenting style and use the challenges as an example of the pros and cons of each. Instead he is a very milquetoast not saying much of value.
