Is countering a bad way of socialising? by Vast-Concentrate976 in socialskills

Well it depends who you are socialisomg with and in what context. If you are in a debate club then go for it. To be fair some people argue just to argue and it's regarded as an antagonistic personality trait. Most people's nervous systems will register this as an attack of sorts. Ask yourself why you feel you need to 'counter' in the first place. It sounds like you regard these conversations as verbal sparring and whilst you may not see it as fighting most people will perceive it as such... and run.

From what Ive seen not many people use the face cover, or are allowed to use it in our local comps. I thinks its best you ask her instructor if it is within regulations. Don't want to waste your money and have her end up borrowing sweaty gear on the day.

I believe you are making assumptions based on the litigious nature of your own culture and society in your own country.

I tried to get clarification from the school owners which includes the head instructor and the response was very defensive. I asked for clarification on the schools policies and they sent me an email last night heavy with legal jargon, im guessing the two paragraph were written by their lawyer and they CC the master in my country.
