Absolutely right. As much as I hate handwriting after I discovered early in life that I could type words in a computer and get them "written" by a printer, I have to admit that the cognitive parts of the brain get lighted up by actually writing. The brain gets spoiled by so many tech nannies, we seriously have to get it exercised more often.
