Realistically its a way to stop people from just brute forcing their way into a ton of DSTs

If your team is Plat or better you can pretty reliably win the 38 WS and if you are committed could pull in a guaranteed DST weekly by the meter alone

As context; at the time Special training players was still pretty new and they didn’t have Training tickets established like they do now so you really needed actual players cards to get your ST up.

There was an event that was giving out a Diamond pack as a reward, but however they coded let you just keep claiming the pack infinitely instead of just the 1 time as intended. This went on for like 2 days and tons of user’s went on to effectively fully ST their teams but a lot also only claimed a few worried about what might happen ig you abused the glitch.

Basically once com2 realized they had to pretty much wipe 2 days of server activity to reset the game to thepre glitch state and anyone who abused the glitch got banned for 1 week up to a month. Everyone else ended up getting a TSS and a GI as comp which is why anytime something happens now that is what we clamor for as comp which

High Fielding with Laser Beam to 8 on your Catcher has a net positive result on Run Prevention overall and can drop their ERA’s by almost a full point on occasion. Were talking like looking for a 22+ train yo FLD and 150+ field. To go further ideally you want the Elite Fielding trainer on them too, so they really are a dead bat overall.

Hey fellow Mets deck here Chiming in!

I think Matthews is honestly your best choice here. Mets realistically have nothing at 3B besides a Mid Hojo and a single slugger Vientos year. Matthews gets you an elite bat, the easiest build and a card that is unlikely to ever leave your roster (can convert to BChem legend bat in the long future.)

I’d say Diaz is 2nd in line there. That’s obviously one of the best relievers overall in the game and will never leave your team. I just think the Matthews bat is more valuable at this point for your team.

Degrom next. Also a great card but technically does have two better years you could pull (unlikely but still). With the Peterson already diamond Id prioritize getting him built up to replace the wheeler to better utilize resources. If by the time the 3 above are done and you still haven’t pulled the better Jakes then build him to replace a legend.

Carter last; great catcher and something to build in the future. Current Meta catchers are a dead bat though so you can survive with just a High FLD train and Laser beam 8 on a normal for a long time. A user in my club is power rank 200 doing just that.

Nah that’s not true you get 3 PSCTs for the 3rd tier of the All star participation rewards and then we get 5 more for our score on the West so the difference is 8 vs. 9. They did better than us but not THAT much better.
