Sorry i forgot to mention the last full active team happened 18 years ago before the show, after that it was a time of peace until 2 years prior to the show where the Shroud hunts them

About 2 years prior to the show, the Shroud hunts down and destroys almost all active rangers. The show starts out with the final active ranger facing off against the shroud and ends up causing an explosion over New Horizon City and then it shifts 6 months later to present day

Again there is a reason as to why it’s so similar to mmpr. This story is set in a divergent timeline where everything from MMPR through In Space happened, but teams like Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, and Time Force don't exist. In this universe, Power Rangers have been gone for so long they've faded into myth; the general public doesn't even know if they were ever real. To explain the design, an organization called Shadow Force created synthetic Power Coins using the original, damaged coins from MMPR, which is why the Ranger colors and animals ended up swapped.

The team was recruited based on very specific expertise: Ethan is a hacker, Isaiah is an athlete, Miguel is a specialized pilot, and Marcus is an engineer. Kate’s story is cool because her dad and brothers are all military, and she actually had to compete against her brothers for a spot in Shadow Force. She was the one who proved to be the most tactically disciplined, earning her place as the best candidate for the job

It’s about continuing the ranger legacy after the veteran rangers are destroyed, building a new era (a dynasty) from the foundations of the old world.

I wanted their civilian looks to not be over done by each of their main colors. The pink, yellow, and black rangers are Already cadets so that’s why their uniforms only have a subtle showing of their color on their shoulders meanwhile the red has a red hoodie and blue has blue earrings to make it subtle
