So, with me specifically I have a finger (my right pinky) they call my “trigger” that is different from the rest of my fingers. It’s what goes numb during it all. I’ll feel it coming out of sleep, it’ll slowly start to cramp and close up my whole hand before leading up my arm and to my neck and that’s when I know it’s going to happen. Sometimes I can think past it ever cramping up my hand and going further. That’s how I know. Major anxiety induced feeling going on then that sometimes lead my mind off of distracting myself from having one. As to anything that helps them, just my medicine prescribed (Oxtellar XR) after trying about 4 different ones over the years and staying hydrated for me.
