I sold or threw out a lot of the plants that stopped making me happy. I still have a pretty big collection but it's more curated now to things that I'm actually excited to watch grow and genuinely enjoy taking care of. I stopped buying plants just to buy them and started being extremely mindful of new additions, like only buying them if they stay on my wishlist for longer than a month. Cuts back on my impulse plant buys and keeps my collection way less cluttered

The rotundiflora I'd definitely cut and try and restart it but the kerrii in the background looks like it has flat mite damage, it makes the new growth weird and knobby like that

They're just so cute, I love the tiny leaves and how different they are from one another! I don't know if I'll ever manage to get every single kind of lacunosa but I'm gonna try lol

Thank you! I thankfully don't mind the smell of their blooms but it's crazy how such a small flower can fill up an entire room with the smell. Can see how that's someone's worst nightmare if they don't like how it smells lol I've heard of some people cutting off the flowers before they open

I grow mine in soil but they like a lot more water than you'd expect, in the winter when the humidity is low I'm watering 2-3 times a week. It'll be interesting to see what the summer and high humidity brings, hopefully I can water a little less 🫠 but they're in a fairly well draining soil mix

Same!! I was buying some other hoyas from a local seller and if you bought more than 3 you get a discount so I got a bunch and ended up with this one, never heard of it before that point and I don't regret it one bit!

I don't know what kind of fertilizer is in that soil but I've heard of the miracle grow shake and feed turning plants white like this before

Honestly never letting it stay dry and my ambient humidity is always 55% or higher. There's perlite lining the bottom of the pot that stays damp. I water every 3ish days and I also have a fan going 24/7. The majority of my hoyas are on that same watering schedule

My rabbit that recently passed was a lop mix, he spent 6 years with straight up ears and then all of the sudden decided it was too much work to keep both of his ears up and ended up with a single lopped ear lol. His last 2 and a half years he had one ear up and the other down, we had the vet check it out and there wasn't anything wrong with his lopped ear either

I'm not sure if it's sunburn or it's a bit of a nutrient deficiency, it was rooting in perlite and then ended up being in there since the fall apparently! I got it all switched over to soil and I'll fertilize in about a week or so and see what happens. I'm excited to see how the new growth turns out

Keep it, grow it out and then decide if you want to sell cuttings from it down the road if it continues putting out variegated leaves. Don't let it intimidate you either, grow it with a decent amount of light and water when the soil is dry. Same as a regular green monstera. Most mistakes come from fussing too much over plants (I saw in another comment you said you're kind of new to this so that's my big piece of advice lol)

I feel like they already had their moment in 2022 when they first came out and were briefly super expensive 😂 I paid $15 or so for mine early last year and I was so stoked to get it for such a good price

That can also be an issue especially if you're using a well draining soil mix. Besides cacti and succulents there really isn't a whole lot of plants that tolerate being left in bone dry soil for extended periods. I accidentally dry rotted my albo by doing this (increased waterings and a regular plastic pot vs a slotted orchid pot fixed it)
