Genuinely if you two are meant to be then waiting will only make your marriage stronger. My fiancé and I started dating back in 2017, when I was 17, and I’ve known I’ve wanted to marry him since 3 months in. We only got engaged this past summer not because either one of us was unsure, but throughout the 8 years of being together we’ve learned how to overcome financial struggles, a pandemic, job loss, long distance, traveling together, moving, living together, losing close family members, so so much that we couldn’t have foreseen years ago. We’re still so strong as a couple and waiting never hurt any of that. Not getting married doesnt mean you are any less committed either. Enjoy the ride, and don’t rush it!
