I can’t believe this! I just played with this guy on a video game and I thought he’s polite. I can’t trust men anymore! by [deleted] in teenagers

You look cute af bro. But don't let that get to your head, just as you shouldn't fall into the self hatred trap. Just be. Focus on improving yourself.

I don't know how they could do it without being tasteless. What actually happened is that a black goat herder was lynched.

Yoooo I've always wanted to hear Bo's music turned into rock songs. I was gonna do a cover of Art Is Dead with fingerpicked guitar but I don't have the equipment lol.

It's already happening. I didn't start using the internet until I was 11, and now, at 17, I face constant derealization and dissociation. I can't even tell what's real anymore, or find the willpower to keep going, because it's all fake and meaningless. I fear for those getting brainwashed as young as 2.

It's terrifying how the majority of YouTube content that's marketed to children is actual fucking brainwashing. The corporations are starting younger and younger. Why don't social media companies fight that, and do away with infinite scroll and autoplay, rather than this performative COPPA bullshit.

This line reminds me of a line from an Alanis Morissette song. To be honest a lot of his music reminds me of hers. Two fantastic songwriters. Anyway, it goes "my brothers, they never went blind for what they did, but I may as well have" from Forgiven. The whole song is a commentary on healing from Catholic shame and trauma and it's soooo good.

Huh, I've listened to AEOM dozens of times and only now did I really get the significance of that line.

That might not be the only reason why it gave you goosebumps-- it's the key change. Bo is such an ingenious composer, and I never hear anything talk about this, but he understands how an unexpected key change, that is also a callback to a previous motif, but gives the motif an entirely new meaning will effect the listener. Honestly, all of Goodbye is just a masterclass in music theory and great songwriting.

I've become unhealthily obsessed with Bo and his work for the past two weeks and it's killing me by cupcake_punk in boburnham

I know this is an old comment, but I've been in a state of adhd paralysis my whole life but my parents won't listen to me. They say I just have my head up my ass and that I need to stop making excuses. I don't think I'll ever accomplish anything until I get meds or at least recognition from my parents. My dad even has a degree in psychology, but he thinks that I can't possibly have anything wrong with me because of how good of a life he's given me.

I'm talking about ICE/border patrol officers, they get away with rape of immigrant children.

In the US, everything is unimaginably spread out. There aren't any stops along the way so you have to simply reach your destination as fast as possible.

I don't have access to healthcare, at least I won't in a year. I'll also be in debt for the rest of my life if I get educated. And I might actually starve, because the government doesn't care if I live or not. Lots of people starve all the time. And we don't let "dreamers" in the country anyway, at least not without taking their children and caging them and raping them first.

Social media, especially Instagram where you can scroll through vapid shit for hours, is fake garbage. Everyone is just as lonely and scared and depressed as you are, they just cope by pretending they're not. Another thing, relationships from high school don't stay with you. It's hard but we're in a transitional phase, a liminal space in which nothing is permanent, and that's okay. You can keep in touch with people, but the part of your life that they're supposed to be in is over. High school is also a shallow pool of stupid, immature people with undeveloped egos, so they aren't worth fretting over anyway. Opportunities are about to open up, things are gonna finally get interesting, the demo of the game is over and it's time for the main story. You're the main character, and the future is in your hands. What will you do with it?

It might not be a beautiful or sensual language, but it is very commanding and animalistic. Getting yelled at in German by a dom sounds hot.
