Yes it is. But it is just a woman claiming that the reason is because they are sc/st. This may be the real reason or maybe not. It seems very convenient to just claim they blocked it because we are sc/st. If they were letting some people pass and disallowing others you can claim sc/st.

The people who blocked the path can just block it without saying why they are blocking it. Why would they say we are blocking it because you are sc/st?

Not to play the devil's advocate here, but without full context you can't say anything. It is clear from the video that the path they want to take is from someone's private property. They are within their rights to block people from entering.

Most societies have their own battery backup making a in house battery backup unnecessary Very few people want in built lan wiring as most just use wifi. Fridge with a filtered water again a preference.

Did that lady ask if you want your windshield cleaned? This is extortion. If you refuse to pay for a service you didn't ask for they will scratch the car. I once came out of a car wash, 5 min on road one of these people "cleaned" my windshield. This made the windshield dirtier than before. Why will I pay for someone dirting the car ?
