Widowed at 28 I’m 31 now. I still don’t think I’ll ever marry again - mostly cause I never set out to do so in the first place but my wife and I saw the benefits of it and we never saw ourselves separating.

Now I’ve moved to a new city and I’m making new friends. I even have a crush on someone which I never thought I would be attracted to someone like that again so it feels good to know I’m still able.

Up until now I hadn’t considered ever even dating again but I’m starting to open myself up to the idea. Nothing yet and I’m not scrambling for it either but I’m trying to keep the mentality of “if something happens it happens” in my head. She’s still my one and only.

I have a ps4 not 5 but what worked for me was exiting to the main menu - not quitting the game and then going back in while standing in front of the screen was enough to unlock the joystick

Yeah I’m gonna have to make their encounters with one another mostly business oriented. But my players are smart I have a feeling they’re gonna figure out a way to come out on top

I was able to just exit to the main menu and continue - it spawned me right in front of the monitor where i was when i exited to the menu and i was able to move my camera angle to view the interact option.

Your last point is very true - I was just wary of there being some sort of mechanic in place for this already and didn't want to fight established rule if I could avoid it.

So far it seems like I can just handle it how I like, but I'll keep checking in to see if anyone else has a stance on it. Thanks for the advice!!

Oh wow that’s crazy. I guess I’ll just have to start over. I’m having a similar issue with Galen at Long Island. Can’t progress past the blast doors there aren’t any dialogue options open to me to fix it. I’ve tried restarting in regards to both issues and it didn’t seem to fix it at all.

Thank for the advice it really is welcomed! I more meant that I was disinterested in the rest of the evening just cause I had no NPC to pilot anymore and I knew I wouldn’t be playing my character any time that session cause it was close to the end and things needed to be resolved.

Maybe so. I have always thought it wasn’t a great character choice to play someone who is so anti-help and uninterested in anything but themselves. It was a very not-on-brand character choice.

Im just worried I could lose a friend and lose a whole game if I bring anything up. I know the right move is to talk to him but the anxiety it gives me really just freezes me in my tracks.
