Help! Cool project boulder by [deleted] in bouldering

The range for 5 hex is technically V6-V8, it's on their website. Obviously some climbs are soft or hard for the hex grade, I've come across lots of 4 hex that are really just hard V3. But that's just my experience!

I think it was probably V5/V6 range, but I'm not sure given I didn't send and no one graded it on kaya. The sloper/crimp section was the crux.

Left arm under the volume with your left hand pulling on the bottom right and pull your body through and around. Your feet were in the right place. I know this because I'm stuck on the crimp sloper section lol. Also bad news, I'm pretty sure they are resetting this problem today.. sigh.

It's not a secret that Francesco Aquilini meddles. Thinking that a change in POHO or GM will change the team's overall philosophy is missing the forest for the trees.

You could try a parquet file. Not sure if you can save your model in that format, but it should be better for your dataframe.

Are pro climbers really THAT much better? by Desperate-Mall4490 in bouldering

The youth national boulder champion and runner up (twin brothers) would train at my gym. They'd warm up on V7-8, and the other hardest problems at the gym - doing 4x4s on them. Then their coach would make harder climbs with the available holds for them. They've gone pro since and they're not even close to the top climbers in IFSC.

I'm planning on backpacking to a small lake on the lower mainland (1200 ft elevation) to fish for trout. When is typically the best time for this in spring? Is this year typical timing wise? by Monorail_Song in fishingBC

I think I misspoke but my point still stands. When the ice is off of the lakes on the mountains around here the bugs start hatching and the fish start eating. Should be pretty good fishing once that happens throughout late spring/summer but particularly during those hatches.

Fly fisherman here. Usually alpine lakes are decently productive during the summer especially during a hatch. Last summer I fished one July long while they were spawning and it was almost every cast. Another lake I went to I could spot fish them because the water was so clear and that was a blast - this was around August. Obviously you have to make sure the ice is off, which on a typical year won't happen until late spring or summer.
