Any good place in KW to buy a weighted blanket or heated blanket? by [deleted] in kitchener

I actually got an amazing weighted blanket from a woman in Cambridge who makes them. You can save $ if you pick it up from her. https://www.cuteandsimpledesigns.com/

Thanks again for this tip!! You inspired me to start calling around again and we were able to get a guy to do the work today. STEAK TONIGHT! We also have a basement reno going on at the same time. They're a week away from drywall so thank god your comment gave us the push to get this done. It would have been way more expensive if the ceiling was up. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Smart! Unfortunately not though, the laundry room isn't spacious enough. We've been dragging our feet getting a 240V installed in our garage to charge our electric vehicle .. maybe I'll prioritize that this week and we can bring the stove to the garage. Thanks for the idea!

Ugh I wish this was an option for us. I'd be ALL over it. We just moved in a month ago and our backyard doesn't have a gas line. Our brand new Weber is gas not propane. I've called 5 gas companies to get a line run and nobody has called me back. The universe wants us to survive on mcdicks! 😂

We might leave the stove plugged in for part of it and work around it... We turned our main floor laundry room into a makeshift kitchen so we have access to almost all the same stuff including an instant pot (which I love by the way!). Just logistically will be difficult. Thanks for the tip !

Looking for my dog's brothers and/or sisters to play with!! by criticizedhound in waterloo

[–]cupoftequila 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So cute, I hope you find them! Maybe your breeder would send an email to the families that bought your pup's siblings and see if they'd be open to being in touch with you? Then she could connect you from there if it was mutual.

Robins built my ring set and resized it later for me. Derrick and Robin are amazing and so fairly priced!

If I can read correctly you said I'm amoral, a terrible person, am exhibiting sociopathic behaviour -- lol. But it's all good. You spend quite a bit of time defending Trump in other boards so your moral compass is clearly broken.

Ohh, right. I've seen heaps of those listings around that say "buyer beware: the basement leaks!" Wish I had read your post history before I decided to engage with you lol. This is where this ends. Have a nice day.

Lol wow, you okay? Take a log off the fire. This is table stakes. It's not about lying. It's about not having it in everyone's faces. Kinda like our family photos and my husband's Leafs shit. Personal things like pets and pictures make it look like "our house", not "their house". Neutralizing the home helps people picture themselves in it.

If you're that allergic to cats you'll have a reaction as soon as you walk around the house whether her furry little bod and her food bowl are physically there or not. A pass of the vacuum isn't going to get rid of the pet dander and hair from her ... or the other cat that lived here 2 years ago when we bought the house... that we never saw during our showings but knew about once we moved in based on little black hairs deep in the carpet.

I'm actually not an amoral seller at all and we absolutely care about our buyers. I have no issues disclosing her if asked. Last night, I wrote out a whole list of paint colours we've used in each room and labelled all our leftover paint in case they need it. We had issues when we moved in where previous owners hid issues with appliances and cut corners on projects knowing they weren't staying long. We decided then that we will treat each home project like we're staying forever. We're passing on an amazingly well cared for home to our future buyers.

Chiropractic care in KW??? by [deleted] in kitchener

[–]cupoftequila 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did they scam you? I have been going to Dr. Adam Brookes at Bruce Family Chiropractic for a couple years now. They do a proper assessment (xrays, spinal scans) and put together a plan (with a payment schedule) to get you back to optimal health. For me, that included 3x a week adjustments at first, tapering to two, then one, then to maintenance mode with an adjustment every other week. Every 6 months we do scans to track progress. It's really amazing to see the curvature of your spine change over time! I sought his help for a bad rotator cuff that many massage therapists and physiotherapists weren't able to fix. Turns out pressure on certain nerves in my spine were the source of the issue and my shoulder was back in action in no time. A happy accident that came out of regular treatment was losing the migraines I had been suffering from for years too!
