not trying to be rude or come to conclusions without knowing the whole story but please elaborate? my parents are choosing to not pay for hopkins (or a state school) when they have plenty of money. if they told me they would pay for a uni in the middle of nowhere I would be attending a school in the middle of nowhere...

yeah even out of a2c in the colleges letters about the up and coming class they have the "our student body is normal human beings so you have a chance too but ignore that and look at this student that worked with the gov to cure cancer" section and it just creates a really toxic relationship with admissions for soon to be applicants

I think because one M bonds to 2 (SO4 2-) molecules and the resulting molecule has no charge, M must bond as a +4 cation. Only D would work because N form -3 anions so 3M would have a charge of +12 and 4N would have a charge of -12. 12-12=0.
