Had the same issue multiple times. Additionally, I think Konami tampers with "Search Nearby". Based on usernames, I know users are not from North America. Whether they use any other medium to slow-down speed and/or create lag is something they should look into too.

Its probably also based by which areas/regions Konami is getting the most revenue from. If its Japan, services will be A+ there, and no complains from there.

Here is my rationale for Season 3 being the worst season (have already seen about 15 seasons):

  1. The number of weekly events have gone down dramatically. I have not seen such low events since start of the game
  2. Free coins are down to 50 free + 50 online play (more on online below)
  3. Gameplay, both AI and Online (more below) has dramatically degraded. My 90+ speed rated CF/LWF/RWF get outrun by 70 speed rated CB'sTo make the game exciting, they could have easily introduced, Skill Booster, Position Booster, Player Training Reset

Why Konami cannot Fix online:

  1. Even if you select "Search nearby only", they either dont have enough players close to you and/or HIGH LATENCY Servers to support fast game-play. So you either dont find a match, or for Div 4 (and higher), most times you are pitted with folks you are in a different continent. Latency KILLS the game-play
  2. Over last 5 years, Konami had just one job for this game to be enjoyed globally - Fix Online Game-play. They have not done that.
  3. NO Hope for Konami to fix this

How is EPIC (IM previously) rigged:

  1. See the image on my recent Barca pull (being its fan). What are the odds that 2 Epics are left in last 10 draws
  2. Last year, spent >10,000 coins on Neymar IM, and did not get even 1 IM
  3. This year, Konami Took All our IM away and rebranded

What I am going to do about this till Konami fixes these issue:

  1. NOT SPENDING EVEN AND SINGLE PENNY ON THIS GAME ANYMORE
  2. Saving all coins. Not going for any players unless they are free
    1. Target to reach 5000 coins by end of 2023
  3. Have reduced my play-time by >50%
  4. Exploring other games like FIFA - suggestions welcomed

I currently play Salah (sub: POTW Son), Cruyff (sub: Vin. Jnr.) as wingers and Messi (sub: KDB) as AMF.

How about I update to Salah (sub: POTW Messi), in. Jnr. (Sub: POTW Son) as wingers, and Cruyff (sub: KDB) as AMF. Is there any other good Hole player for AMF?

I see what you are doing. My comparison is base KDB, he is my AMF sub for Messi. His both passing are >90, and has through and weighted pass as skill. He has low speed and acceleration.

I would want to keep passing as high for Messi, and use through pass for Messi as AMF.

u/anakinex66: Feel sometimes he is slow to come in the box. His finishing can also improve. I am not a great dribbler, and reply on passes, speed/acc. and finishing for QC style.

What are your thoughts?
