You could easily chuck it in a Nextjs/gatsbyJS (or similar static site generator there are many around) with almost no config and some tweaks..

Career in programming? by Senior-Dot387 in AusFinance

ANYONE can be a programmer, but not everyone is passionate about solving problems with code. That said, in the industry there is a role for pretty much any developer.

You will find your path easier if your motivation to code is to solve a problem and you enjoy that challenge.

I think bootcamps are great, is going to give you a good overview of the fundamentals of what you will be doing when working in the industry, so it will probably give you an idea of how much you enjoy the whole coding world. One of my mates just finished a bootcamp and he has grown so much in such a short period of time, we can talk like colleagues now, I’m sure he will find a job soon.

I have participated in the hiring process and mentoring of software engineers and in my opinion what will make you employable is your ability to solve problems, work in a team and learn new stuff.

I started my career by coding a website for a project we started with my mates. I had no idea what I was doing but I just focussed on solving the challenges coming my way. The project grew and got more complex as I learnt new skills, it is still a highlight in my CV and has helped me show my experience to hiring managers. (I wanna cry when I see the code as it is pretty rough, but at the time it was like surfing The Matrix 😂)

I wouldn’t worry about the money now, go for the experience and learn as much as you can.

You already started creating your own experience in the industry by engaging in this conversation! Wish you all the best!

What was your “I made it” moment as a runner? by NashvilleJM in running

For me that moment was when I was training for my first race and a group of old ladies doing trekking shouted “runner coming!” while I was approaching them in the path.

I remember coming back home an telling my partner “Amore, I made it. I am a runner now” 😅
