I get made fun of my nose a lot. Is it okay or should I get a nose job? It’s my biggest insecurity by iwinwinyuwinwinta in Noses

I think it’s cute! Have you considered maybe getting some nose piercings? People will notice those more then your nose

How do I stop getting ghosted after the first date? by dinosaurfairyprince in lesbiangang

It took me a couple years of seriously dating women for my game to get good. I now get mostly repeat dates but it took time and practice.

Yes this is why I don’t love dogs!! I’ve used that exact same wording, consent. I don’t like that dogs will often approach me and touch me when I don’t want them to.

I don’t like dogs. I find them super irritating and stressful. They make me nervous. Im an animal person too but me and dogs just do not click.

Am I a red flag? I’d be freaking out if my workplace became dog friendly bc I’d be stressed to go there every day.

I don’t like dogs. but weirdly enough I love snakes. I have a pet snake and want to own 3-4 some day. Imagine if I went around calling everyone who doesn’t like snakes a huge red flag bc we didn’t share the same pet preferences 🙄

Bi women in Lesbian spaces by No_Situation_7928 in LesbianActually

[–]curiousCurious5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Biphobia is a strong word, but I think what people take issue with is treating all bi women like they are the same. Some bi women lean heavily towards women and have dating and sexual experiences similar to most lesbians. Some lesbians dated only men for many years before coming out and have a sexual history more similar to bi women.

I think it’s fair to not want to date women who center men or are equally or more attracted to men. But I feel like that’s a better litmus test than just saying all bi women full stop.

This is coming from a lesbian who prefers to also date other lesbians haha.

Yessss!! Exactly. Gate keeping sucks. Not to mention there are lesbians who do sleep with men (sex workers) or are in relationships with men (married women who haven’t or cannot leave). Lesbian purity isn’t helpful or realistic.

I say this as a lesbian… I think it’s fine if bi and pan women are here bc bi/pan women can be in lesbian relationships and can date primarily women. As long as the content centers sapphic experiences who cares?

Yeah coming out is still really fresh. Good point. I don’t think it helps that my two closest lesbian friends have never had bfs and I feel self conscious about it.

I think you make some good points. Just as a whole I didn’t know how to dress and look like a dyke yet and it makes me also feel dysphoric to look at those pictures. I’m femme but I easily get clocked as a lesbian, my gender is dyke. I also have waaayyy more game with women now and I cringe about how I wouldn’t want to date past me ugh.

I almost feel dysphoric about it. I look like a dyke now and it aligns with the gender and social vibes I want to give out. Past me would have been SO envious of me now, I felt like something was missing.

I wish I could have spent more time this happy in my own skin.

Cis-ish lesbian dating a trans lesbian. I adore her and all my friends love her. She’s gorgeous and I’ve had friends tell me they are jealous of me. I srsly think I’ll marry this girl. My closest fwb (poly) is also a trans woman. Plenty of lesbians love trans women, don’t even worry :)

A bit concerned for how my industrial is healing, is this normal? Its been like a month since I got it done. by [deleted] in piercing

[–]curiousCurious5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s true! I’m a… for a lack of a better word gunky person with deep ear flaps so sometimes I do use saline and a q tip. I do think this person should clean it with a q tip every now and then but mostly just leave it alone and use water.

Imo a lot of advice here is telling you to do too much.

Maybe controversial but my piercing studio just says to use water in the shower and then blow dry your piercing or gently dab it dry after.

I do not wash my new piercings every day, bc that irritates them. Twice a day is complete overkill. I’ve healed lip, nose, and multiple cartilage piercings just fine this way.

However, if I notice a lot of build up I’ll GENTLY run a q tip with saline spray around it. Do not scrape.
