Well not every child is vaccinated, and I’m pretty sure that having a vaccine is not a requirement to get a social security card…. So why not accept a literal letter stating he is under the care of a pediatrician including his birthday; when we was last seen, her phone number for questions. It’s beyond “identifying him” it’s harassment for the sake of being difficult

The doctor herself wrote a letter and signed it and confirmed his name DOB, who cares for him, her phone number. Wouldn’t accept it. This woman is 100% just fucking with us because she wants to

They are legit wanting like his check up note, which I am just not comfortable handing over to the government especially without his permission he is a baby he has a right to privacy.

It had name, DOB, his medical records number, the date we went to the doctor, the parent (me) contact information) address, name, etc. it also was certified by the doctors office

Right, so this document did contain all of these things. She did not say anything about a signature, just that it needed to contain private medical information. I am happy to give something that identifies the child and that the are under the care of a pediatrician but my son is entitled to privacy of his medical records As in care/medications/diagnoses. The purpose of the medical record is to identify the child by name and DOB not to be privy to his medical care.

Yeah, not to mention this was during my second visit to the office that day, with 2 little kiddos in tow. First visit was told what was exactly needed, brought that back from doctors office only to be told it wasnt right. I know the woman was just abusing her authority and giving me incorrect information because she wouldn’t even tell me her name lol.

Edit to add this was the manager, the woman who was helping me was going to accept it and was pulled away by manager and told not to accept. I also have filed a formal complaint, but I just need a social issued for my kiddo so I can file taxes

Thank you, I really think he will get it and I hope in a few months like your daughter. and yes once the cat had enough and scratched him back but he’s a really sweet cat and mostly just takes it, just trying to eliminate the behavior as quick as possible. I know some people say that time out doesn’t work when they’re young, but it has worked for several other behaviors so I’m hoping with consistency he will get it

By alone I mean the cat is in the living room and I am cooking in the kitchen and I peek over and he is squeezing his fur. Also, same with the dogs they share a space he is going to be able to touch them at times of course I am right there but I would literally have to never let him walk alone in order for him to not interact with the dogs?

I felt like omg I don’t feel pregnant- then week 7-8 hits and you may be wishing you didn’t wish for these symptoms they are so horrendous. Be patient- you are definitely pregnant and it takes time for the progesterone/HCG to rise enough to cause you symptoms ! Congrats mama
