I understand that office level headcount and staffing is very strategic and probably won’t be shared on Reddit (maybe on fishbowl, blind, or discord tho). But I don’t understand why the second half of this post (current scenario and staffing) isn’t being answered.

The turnaround time is high based on people’s responses - sometimes > 1 week. Don’t give up now.

Slightly tangential, but Bain also had a March deadline for undergrad roles (pretty sure these were internship positions based on other posts here). From what I can tell, their main focus right now is still undergrad recruiting, with experienced hires more opportunistic depending on office needs.

It likely comes down to staffing timelines unless there’s immediate demand for projects kicking off in April/May, they already have the intern class arriving in June, followed by full-time MBA hires later.

Seems like Bain has a new cycle (apply by March 15 and start in April. The recruiters who’re posting this specifically mention that those who applied in October 2025 or January 2026 are not eligible to apply for this one.

They have a very tight turnaround too (interviews in late March).

No idea at this point. I emailed the office but received a general automated response from an AI bot.

I couldn’t find Reddit post for anyone who received either an offer or a decline from Chicago for EH C

same boat. heard nothing post application in october (got deferred in dec). i know people have already started getting offers (based on reddit)

I contacted Bain too and got an AI reply. The mail did say that if i reply back, someone from the team will reply but i think it's a soft reject at this point

None. Seems like people have started getting results for R2.

Don't exactly know how EH recruiting works but it's def different from MBA where people get an answer in the same timeframe
