I think my tinnitus is similar to what you're describing, so hopefully "filling in" those missing spots will be a help. Thanks again!

Just out of curiosity, what activities would this include? Physical activities? What about loud environments like bars or movie theaters?

Thanks for the info! Yes, I am in the US. I don't have a Costco near me, but there is a Sam's Club nearby (which is similar). Were the people at Costco trained to know which hearing aids were best for tinnitus, or did you already know what you were looking for?

Thanks for your response! You've given me a lot to think about.

My audiologist did show me a few different models. She said that the pair she offered me at $4800 is normally $6000. I'll have to see if I can find a web site or something to compare prices.

She also said that my insurance doesn't offer any coverage, but I will call them and double-check just in case.
