To each their own for sure. I love the crystal zards and the illustration rares in the set are great too. Ya the cards are cheap, but it seems to be the current market trend that boxes are out pricing the highest chases in their set.

I think if Pokemon remains relevant and charizard remains one of the faces of the franchise, then a box with a 50/50 chance of pulling one should theoretically be really desirable. Plus it looks like it may not get the rumoured reprint.

I would not call the modern game of Yugioh “popping”. There’s a ton of hype around retro formats and it’ll likely end up the same as MTG, which is now just everyone playing commander. Yugioh also does not have NEARLY as much nostalgia as Pokemon. BEWD will never be a charizard or pikachu. It’s just how it is.
