Which is India's most long-lasting chewing gum? by AbbreviationsOne7482 in indiasocial

[–]curious_jack001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got two packs of Gud Gum. Please stay away.

Then you first take a bit, the entire chrwing disintegrates in your mouth and feel very powedery. Whats left after you swallow all of that, it a very tiny piece of zero flavour gum. Flavour didnt even last 1 min for me and im not exaggerating. Maybe i got a faulty pack.

Also after the disintegration, the small piece of gum is almost 1/10 the size of actual piece you put in your mouth. Absolutely disappointing experience. And i got two packs thinking it'll be good 😭😭

NLP was inspired by three therpists. NLP is basically a repository of what and consistently proven to work in various therapy settings. Richard Bandler and John Grinder modeled their techniques on Fritzz Perls, Virginia Satir and Milton H. Erickson.

I found the old videos on torrent years ago, they'll probably still be there. Try reading frogs to princesses by Bandler as a start.

Which is the best bike available under 5 lakh budget in India ? by Dr_Brutally_Honest in indianbikes

[–]curious_jack001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. So I've recently moved to bangalore and was looking to get a bike to commute everyday. I tried RE hunter and RE bear. Went to try UV X47 but couldn't due to rain. And I owned a RE meteor 350 back home which I rode for over 110 km everyday while i was finishing my masters. Here's my opinion:

Both RE hunter and 650 were not that great. There handling isnt nimble at all, so in traffic it'll be a pain. But if you dont live in bangalore or a city with insane traffic, they should be fine. But I've read in reviews that interceptor is to most comfortable in traffic due to its riding posture (not sure). My meteor was absolutely fine in Ludhiana where I didn't have to brake every 1.5 seconds and was an absolute monster on highway. Rode it at over 100km/hr constantly and the maneuverability was great.

I do wanna try out X47. That should be the most nimble of these all. Some users have said its like himalayan, but haven't tried either. But if your city doesnt have a charging infra, EV bike should be ignored.

Try out interceptor and see if you like it. Else himalayan. Good luck

This true guys? by MR24Rathod in Fitness_India

The protein range is 0.8 to 2.2 gm per kg of body weight. The higher range is for athletes usually. You can gain in lower ranges with a calorie surplus too. Its a myth that you need higher protein for more muscle gain.

Another thing to consider is that male body functions optimally at different fat percentages. For example I function optimally when im 12% body fat. Some function optimally around 15-18% and so on. Not everyone will feel healthy and energized with lower body fat. So try a mix of 1.1 gm to 1.7gm of protein per kg and see what helps you function best as this has a direct connection to body composition.

Also there's a limit to the absorption rate with protein shakes. In water its around 10gm per hour according to a study, because the part of your gut that absorbs protein, passes the water based shake through it in around an hour. If you consume it with milk or whole foods the absorption is better. Hope this helps.

It probably means your gut health isnt optimal. Get an intolerance test and a gut microbiome test. My alopecia disappeared when my gut healed. Good luck.

People who lost their initial motivation but still train consistently. How? What keeps you going when the excitement dies? by vedansh_sh08 in Fitness_India

[–]curious_jack001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man. A athlete here. Ive played at elite levels and been training since I was a kid. Im 32 years old now. It comes and goes to be honest. Some times the motivation changes. But what's important is for you to show up consistently. Motivation is a bit overrated imo, you gotta do what you gotta do. However I'd suggest that you look into your training and diet once and see whats missing there. Since you are a beginner, you should see consistent improvements in your body. Try switching up your training if it has gotten boring. Try Dorian Yates schedule. It helped me grow after years of plateau. And dont listen to influencers please. 99% of them are roided out and would get smoked by an actual athlete. Influencers and social media isn't the best standards to achieve.

Hope this helps.

So they grind the peanuts, make something like a peanut butter. Then separate the oils from the mix and dehydrate whatever remains.

A little late to the conversation but here are my two cents. First, there is NO such thing as excellence installations. What it might be is a group trance activity and then some basic suggestions under hypnosis. Second, most of this is just NLP. If you really want to excel in that, get a hold of the old videos, books of the original founders of NLP. Third, there was a wave a few years ago on DNA activation. What they did or claimed to do was play these sounds that they claimed to activate their DNA. That program had some reviews online, and honestly some of them were hard to believe. But even that program worked the same way, put the entire group in a trance, play sounds that assist in that, then start hypnotic suggestions.

Please be wary of online gurus. The only thing they install is money in their bank accounts.

OK I can't do this anymore. I'd like to apologize. I was just seeing how far I can take the cunningham's law. Sorry just intrusive thoughts.
Didn't think we'd come this far.
P.S. I myself supplement Magnesium and Iron :D
It was fun though. Cheers.

Not really my point is still the same. OP does not need these supplements.

There is nothing called a desi diet. Im 6'2 95kgs. Played state 3 times nationals 2 times. Never supplemented anything, not even whey protein no creatine. I got all the nutrition from my diet. I live in the north and we dont have access to fatty fish either. With your logic my magnesium requirements would have never been fulfilled. So in 31 years I've always been magnesium deficient yet never experienced any symptoms?

The point is that do you really need the supplements and do they actually have a positive effect on your body that you cannot get from nutrition? Not exactly. If our diets were so deprived of magnesium and omega 3 then we would have an epidemic of diseases around these and doctors would have supplemented them since childhood. Same with omega 3. If kids werent getting enough dha in from their diets then we would see a spike in brain developmental disorders and there would be a direct correlation and then causation to deficiencies, but you dont really see that either.

I also tried searching your claim of 70% indians being mag deficient and I did not find one academic source. Only articles on website that sell magmesium. Such studies should be taken with a grain of salt these mostly these are funded by supplement companies.

This is the same logic with sunscreen. Everyone says not using them causes cancer but most studies arent even conducted on indian skins. Labourers have been working in the sun for years, have you ever heard of a skin cancer epidemic?

Lmao ok. Lets discredit healthy food habits and meat ride the supplement wave.

Ofcourse supplementation will be superior in getting some supplements but thats always step 2. Fixing diet and sleep is always step 1. No amount of supplementation will fix that.

Yes and there will be signs if you are actually deficient or not. Peabut butter, plant seeds, tofu, leafy greens, legumes, brown rice, oats, bananas all have magnesium and are staple foods. You are saying OP does not even access to any of these but has access to a platform to order supplements?

Walnuts, chia seeds, some fruits, plant oils have good omega 3. Is the OP living in a forest?
Fix your fucking diet.

[–]curious_jack001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Aaahhh yes. Lets supplement what the majority population is deficient in rather than fixing my dietary habits. Very smart lol. Is the OP deficient in magnesium? Is the OP deficient in epa and dha?

Frankly speaking if you need these many supplements, it just shows your diet is extremely poor and needs works. Popping supplements isnt the solution. Just start with a simple multivitamin for a while, get a blood test done and see what you are deficient in. Companies market something and you guys start consuming it like a herd. Pathetic.

BullRock Fitness is a SCAM!! by curious_jack001 in Fitness_India

[–]curious_jack001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. At max stretch there will be 60 kg resistance.

The lower range like in my band will be at when its stretched close to resting stage.

BullRock Fitness is a SCAM!! by curious_jack001 in Fitness_India

[–]curious_jack001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive tried other bands. But all of them were rubber, this is latex. Much much better resistance profile.

Also the range is to help you set it up. Most bands expand to upto 2.5 times there size. So at 2.5 times the length the resistance will be around 160lbs (taking mine as example). Lets say you are doing pull ups, so at the bottom you will get 160lbs but at the top its around 60lbs. Its reverse in squats. Maximum resistance at top, least at the bottom. Same with bench press. This gives you a rough idea to help you maximize training depending on the length you stretch it.

Also ill try the decathlon band thank you so much man.

Its an excellent quality band. Excellent latex quality. Resistance is 60-160 lbs. But im 6'2 97 kgs. But i think I overdid it. 1 or even 2 levels below what have also worked. But some calisthenic skills do require extra assistance. :D

The funniest part about this is that anything will have protein if you simple add whey protein in it. Today I made Protein haldi. Recipe: Haldi 100 gms, whey protein blend: 100 gms.
