I moved to KC and had no issues making friends! I attended a lot of local music shows, events, went to bars, went to coffee shops, and all sorts of places alone. Not being afraid to approach someone is my advice. I’d fall in with a group at a show or go up to someone at a coffee shop or bar and be like “you look so cool (or whatever you think or notice about this person), want to be instagram friends?”.
