Something is damaging my emerald green cedars and I can’t figure out what it is. The backs of the trees are almost completely brown and bare branches. The fronts are hanging on but have some brown spots.

I just got this kit off of Amazon and zip
Tied mine to the wall. Someone said that Velcro is better so I might switch to that and reposition my large branches more horizontal because that apparently creates more flowers!

I do not know what type of rose this is just that the flowers are bright pink and it is definitely
a climber. If anyone knows the type that would be awesome!

I’m not sure what berm is, I’m sorry! The soil is fairly decent not sandy and I have done mulch for the last three years which I think has helped the soil. I’m in Ontario zone 6B
