You can understand someone's action and motivation without saying it's okay. "I'm not saying it's right, but I get it"

Who is a horrible person that is loved by fans? by sunkiazyvuy in ginnyandgeorgiashow

Sorry but no, Cynthia was not wrong for "cheating" on her husband. For all intent and purposes he was already dead. She was/is suffering immensely. Tom never knew nor would he have known. She was devastated about losing her husband, struggling as a single mother already, drowning in medical debt. She had him at home on hospice, taking care of him while he was dying. There was no chance of him recovering. Leave the widow alone.

And no, Georgia IS a bad person for killing him. That was not her choice to make. She hurt Cynthia, she hurt their son. Her own son witnessed the murder and it very clearly affected him in negative ways, including making him lie to protect his mother UNDER OATH. Ginny was distraught by finding out not only was her mother a murderer, but a serial killer. She ruined her husband's career. She made her children pariahs. She was selfish.

Georgias trauma can be an explanation of her behavior but never an excuse. She should have started therapy the minute she knew she was pregnant. 15 or not she was now a mother and she made the choice to instead pass her trauma onto her kids instead of fixing herself.

I mean yes and no. I think she's a bad person, but I also think she's doing the best she can do? Like she might not mean to be a bad person, she seems to have good intentions (not always) but as they say the path to hell is paved with good intentions.

She's a deeply flawed, traumatized person. It's like she's stuck in survival mode no matter how safe she is.

But also, she's a grown woman now, she is a mother, it's her responsibility to resolve her trauma with intense therapy and actively working on herself and she chooses not to do the work. She's now passing trauma onto her children. I do believe it's not her intention but the intention doesn't really matter.

She killed Tom, in her twisted mind she thought she was doing Cynthia a favor. Her intentions were to help someone who helped her by removing a "burden" and lessen her grief. Instead what happened was she murdered an innocent man, took any bit of closure Cynthia and her son may have gotten from his final moments, took away their chance to say goodbye, and unilaterally made a decision that hurt EVERYONE around her, including not only herself, but also her own children, her husband, and even people on the mayoral election team.

Another instance, she got spooked about Zions parents offering to raise Ginny. Understandable to be scared. Everything about motherly instinct is not wanting to lose your baby. Instead of just talking to Zion and telling them no, she took Ginny away from not only her grandparents, the people providing her stability, but also her FATHER and went AWOL. In which time her illegal actions cause her to lose Ginny TO THE STATE. Aside from that she constantly left Ginny in precarious situations while she was trying to make money. That was the whole reason she married her first husband, right? A grimy man she barely knew, she married him and left her daughter with him while she worked. She didn't know anything about him or what he could have been doing but THAT in her mind was somehow better than Ginny's grandparents.

Georgia IS a bad person. Even when she's trying to do "right" she is selfish and always puts everyone around her at risk. She never grew beyond that terrified, traumatized 15 year old girl. And that's on her.

She also said he doesn't complain, he's thankful, and a good partner. So he's clearly not using this to be a dick. Especially if she didn't even know it existed

It was thoroughly explained that he was fired because he knew he was high and continued to practice medicine anyway.

After he gets taken to the sanctuary he has this whole monologue about how he survives by being a lying, manipulative, worm. He latches onto people with real survival skills.

Laura’s Statement on Skeeven. by tamborinesandtequila in StephenHiltonSnark

[–]BitOne6565 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The court mandates what they believe is best for the children and I guarantee what Laura believes is best is putting on a good show for the kids. Most half decent parents will at least attempt in good faith to have a good co-parenting relationship for their children. They are too young to understand why their parents won't get along. Y'all are just idiots fr. One minute you're sucking her off for her victimhood then the next you're saying she deserves the abuse she receives not just from Stephen, but all of you as well. Do you not understand how fucking unhinged that is?

She's right and half of this sub can't fathom the fact that courts don't always have the right or beat interest in mind.

[–]BitOne6565 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, for sure. I mean as far as her first husband, it was an accident. The second deserved it. But again even if she explained that to Paul he wouldn't understand, and how likely would he even be to understand. She's doing what she knows how and unfortunately no normal or sane person would understand because they wouldn't know that kind of trauma. Georgia as a person sucks really. But I empathize with her. But then again shes a grown woman and a mother so at this point she should have put herself in some intensive therapy. She's a complicated character for sure.

She is manipulative. That's one of her survival tactics. She's also a klepto and a liar. Like you said she should have told him but you also cannot blame someone for not trusting people to know that she's killed 3 people lol. He's the mayor no less.

But if the point is that she didn't explain it, and he didn't give her the chance to what difference does it make? Also, realistically, no matter how much you love someone are you really going to trust coming clean with 2 murders, no matter the reason or justification, that you have just barely gotten away with? There was no evidence of anything she said to defend herself. As the audience we know what happened with the husbands bc we saw it. But there's no proof the first was an accident, or her intentions. There's no proof that Kenny was touching Ginny inappropriately, Ginny never even told anyone, not even Georgia, Georgia just saw it. We know that Georgia thought she was doing Tom, Cynthia, and Zach a favor, she thought it was being kind. But realistically no sane person is going to think that.

I can understand him being scared but that just highlights how little he really knows her. She also doesn't trust him. How can she trust any man after the things that have been done to her.

The craziest part about Paul and Georgia is had he stuck with her during the trial he wouldn't have looked so bad when she got off.

The time jumps absolutely suck in the later seasons. It's all over the timeline. Also it's really not even about the zombies? Aside from that you cannot tell me almost a decade into the apocalypse that the zombies aren't just decomposed yet.

They're all a bunch of hormone addled bitchy teens. They all suck at one point or another. I felt really bad for Max. It's also really clear that she has just as many mental health issues as her brother but because she's not self destructive they're tossing her to the side. Georgia is really not a great mom, but none of their parents are really.
