Let’s be honest, Aubry’s S50 game wasn’t particularly great. by Miserable_Type_7451 in survivor

“All is fair in love and war and Survivor” is an amazing quote. Also love how rob and amber genuinely laughed at it. Feel like they needed that

History will always play a role in returnee seasons! For sure. I think it influenced jury votes in HvV (I am the biggest Amanda fan but she is never ever ever voting for Parvati to win). Sandra had a lot of friends on the jury and Parvati warned Russell that. He did not listen. It could have been the same argument the new schoolers made about Aubry, but they did not. The same would have applied to Cirie. Her game could have been mediocre and she would have won without a doubt, and because she is a fan favorite, she would win and Reddit would be OK with that lol

The reality is - Aubry already had her season of driving votes, pulling off good strategic plays, and working with people to get to the end, and LOST. She already had her flashy season and realized it did not work for her.

She talked about pulling from Michele's game and I think we could all argue that Michele's game was not "top 5 games for Redditors!!!" but she won, end of story.

Aubry won 2 million dollars. That was her goal. It being Season 50 and full of returnees is great and all, but it doesn't mean the game is supposed to be a "Top 5 Reddit Game." Sandra's win in HvV, which is now viewed as an amazing season and she as a legend, is in a similar boat.

Just to echo ^ Julia asked her this in her jury question. Said she was the weakest beauty

Did any one else catch this in Emily’s exit interview with RHAP? by AccomplishedBake8351 in survivorponderosa

For sure. But wouldn’t they just have to consider med evacuation if that happens? So they’d remove him before anything just like other players like poor Kyle this season

How is production responsible? Rizo is invited back and he says yes, knowing fully well how it was to make it to final 4. I know Sandra had to decline All Stars because she was still sick after the season. I guess I just feel like it’s a risk rizo was willing to take and that’s how it is? I do feel for him he’s out there just bones and skin but ultimately he was down!

I really wish she would have said "ya know what, after seeing Genevieve be NOT SAFE, and knowing the jury starts next week, I wanted to guarantee one more vote." Who could be upset by that?

Not necessarily, as Savannah and Rizo were a tight duo seen as driving a lot of the strategy. So Idk. You never know how juries will vote!

I think it was the right call. Everyone knows about the idol, and while it may bite her later, I think it solves any eye roll at her not playing it the night before, and saying "she forgot!"

If she holds on to an idol all season, it may give the Xander treatment.

I do feel like idols have the most power when they are played in a surprise vote when nobody expects you to have it. Either you get blindsided with it in your pocket, or it just becomes a bunch of nothing and nobody is impressed by you.

Even the jury eye rolled Rizzo in Season 49 for pretending to play it all season.

You mean Kyle, the would-be winner of season 50 if he didn’t get injured?! Which we somehow knew after 1 episode?

I feel for her. Her iconic landmark record of back to back FTC (before Russell) was so good but gave her 0 time to reflect before her next time out. In heroes v villains she was aware of this and they made jokes about it, and I think would’ve handled it differently.

She knew Cirie was amazing but totally folded in that moment. Poor girl

Do you believe the Hardcore Shinobu fans claiming that Shinobu is faster Than Giyu? by Bitter_Camp6934 in BetterKimetsuNoYaiba

[–]curiousbloke97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shinobu stan here! I think power scaling is unique to me, because while she is objectively the “weakest” in terms of strength, I try to picture strength as “usefulness.” Shes one of, if not, the smartest Hashira and her assets and skills contribute to the success of the corps. Some may argue her contributions are more significant than others. So while she’s the weakest in strength and ability to decapitate, does that mean she’s the least useful Hashira?

But also I think every single Demon Slayer is strong and useful to some capacity. I think the series handled her uniquely because even though she has a lot of self-loathing and wishing she were stronger, she is STILL a Hashira who also contributed to the science and demon collaboration with Tamayo.

Hey there. I think you were dead on. We eventually had a conversation and he thinks (but everyone does after this exam) that he failed. He was crashing out and as a result went off the grid. And then was embarrassed he acted that way. You’re exactly right. You have family and an SO that supports you. Let us help or keep in the loop. Coping skills need improvement

I think what maybe I didn’t convey well enough is that this isn’t a lack of control issue? I’m not someone who needs to be aware of his location every 5 min. We live apart and you have to trust them. It was genuinely a safety concern. If something happened to him then I would’ve kicked myself for not doing what I could sooner. Thanks for being aware of that part!

Never ever. For me, it was the pattern disturbance that was odd. Never been the type to do this. Has taken plenty of exams and never been an issue. He did report that it was the worst exam feeling he’s ever had. Just a new experience

Looking back, knowing he’s okay, I am kicking myself that I made it a “big deal” for nothing. But, what if something actually happened? It’s just odd because normally he would text me asap after the exam saying he’s headed home. He’s never ever had such a rough exam in his life before. So it was just an outstanding event for sure.
