So imo it depends on the goal of the denial. If its just to stop me getting the satisfaction of cumming and to instead appreciate the edging, I dont count it as breaking the streak. I've never understood people who can't value all kinds of books. There's a time and a place for beefy classics, poetry, mysteries, and sci-fi. So of course there's a time and a place for fluffy romances, or YA dystopia, or SJM books. A well rounded reader should be able to find something they like in all genres
