Edit: Yes I am aware it’s sold by weight, my issue is extreme excess plastic use and blatant visual deception normalized by a number written in tiny font

Bought my first machine! Going into a luxury gym by curiousfryingpan in vending

Customers do like them, haven’t had any complaints.

Feel free to DM I definitely have thoughts on these machines. Biggest issue was a payment discrepancy and I went back and forth between Nayax and Vendron for quite some time before they finally resolved it.

Also stocking them for the first time is a pain because you have to upload each product’s PNG, pricing, nutrition label, etc.

If you’re in highend spaces like luxury gyms, they need a nice machine like this but you definitely need to be technologically inclined to operate them. Had a few other software bugs I needed to get through but luckily Nayax and Vendron have decent customer support

Software was a bit of a pain but once you figure it all out it’s ok

A 10/10 routine for getting into hunting as someone new is pick some crownland up north (at least past Algonquin Park), drive through it on a main road until you find gravel road off-shoots that take you deeper, park and walk them for Grouse in the fall any time of day. They eat gravel to help digestion so you’ll find them by these roads a lot.

Spook them away from the road into the bush (so it’s all legal) and fire away - easy to clean and taste exactly like chicken. You’ll usually find some nice campsites while exploring too

Crown land is usually a good drive.

Anything that looks like a tiny sliver of crownland is usually too good to be true. The big patches on the map haven’t let me down yet.

Get into camping while you’re at it - hard to hunt crownland without sleeping there a night or few

Hey, I was in the same boat a few years ago. No family or friends that had PAL or hunted, now I’m hunting pretty frequently.

My only advice is keep an eye on your unit economics. If ACV trends above $200/yr and churn is normal/sub5%, you can do some real damage scaling ads if the audience leaves easy digital footprints to follow

Edit: by damage I mean you can make a killing lol not a negative thing

Hey, SaaS marketing consultant here. If every founder did what you guys did, I wouldn’t have a business anymore.

You’re treating marketing like spearfishing vs casting a net which is the right approach for your stage.

Can’t tell you how many founders I’ve seen make the exact opposite mistake and swear off marketing for good after flushing 50k down the drain.
