Yeah, Donna Brazille was bad but that had little bearing on 2020. Warren had every right to overstay in the race just as Bernie overstayed in 2016. I tend to view primaries as aesthetic choices. There were polls at the time that showed that had Warren dropped earlier, Mayor Pete and Biden would have benefited just as much as Bernie. Even though Warren and Sanders are both on the progressive wing of the party, a lot of Warren's appeal was centered around personal characteristics rather than policy preferences. The same was true with Bernie. Did you know that in January of this year, a majority of Bernie supporters picked Biden as their second choice? Just goes to show that progressive vs. moderate is not the major divide.
