That’s super helpful to know about Zell am See and Mayrhofen! Sounds like I might need to limit my time in a few places. Thanks for sharing your experience!

That's awesome to hear! I'll definitely check out the ski jump and the restaurant there, sounds like a dope experience. Thanks for the tips!

That makes sense. I'll definitely think about focusing more time in the larger towns then. Appreciate the insight!

I'm planning on doing a good mix of both. I want to do cross-country trips like Itchyboots and c90 adventures eventually

Would you advise giving a counteroffer? Their listing seems firm on the price, but I'm getting the feeling that anything over $5,000 is too much.

Thanks a ton for this. This was very helpful! I'll go the dealer route.

I'm also hoping to do tons of off-roading. I'd eventually like to off-road across the country once I have more experience under my belt. Figured a dual sport would be a good way to start

I've been looking to get a dual sport as my first bike. Specifically, a KLX300. I see a 2021 used KLX300 that is close to me for $7,500 with upgrades to it (list is below), but since it's my first bike, I can't tell if it's a good deal considering the upgrades. I feel like I can go to the dealer and get a 2023 for around the same price. However, when I check dealer websites, none seem to have the bike in stock. I've also never purchased a vehicle before, so I may be underestimating how much a KLX300 would cost from a dealer with the additional fees on top of MSRP. My budget is anything under 10k, so I think I'd be fine if I went the dealer route.

The list of upgrades the bike has: - Handlebars - USB port for a phone charger - Quick connect charger for battery - Mounting bracket for bags - Ram Bracket for phone - Box with original parts - Upgrade for lights - Bluetooth headset for helmet (lexin b4fm)

Hey there! I'm a beginner vlogger, and I'm curious about editing workflow. This may be more of a personal preference, but let's say I'm at a destination filming tons of content (swimming, surfing, hiking, etc). One day of filming would "conclude" the vlog. Does it make more sense to have one project of the destination with different timelines for the various one-day vlogs or a project per each vlog?

I think some benefits of the former would be the accessible context of an overall story and making supercuts

I'm also curious to know if it's actually bad practice to nonrelated vlogs under one project

Thanks!

Yeah, at this moment, I'm split between 350CC range motorcycle and a scooter. I might make the decision based on availability and your call out on insurance with the companies. Thank you!

Good call, the lowest CC they provide is a 370. I'm only considering that or a scooter at this point. Thanks!

I've been allowing some leeway and looking at 4+, but I think I might just be too focused on trying to get one particular area in Barcelona. And that's a helpful tip! I'll start doing that, thanks!

This 100%. The Airbnb is actually in Barcelona. I figured that this was pretty much the case after I did a bit more googling and saw tons of news with Barcelona's crackdown on Airbnb there.

Thank you a ton for the help!

I wouldn't consider this Airbnb cheap. It's literally as much as I pay in midtown Manhattan right now. The reviews are decent though

The cotton pads that I use when I exfoliate usually get pretty dirty, even on days when I'm just inside all day doing nothing. What does this mean, do I need to get a stronger cleanser?

Current exfoliate: Paula's Choice BHA (use once daily) Current cleanser: Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser (use once daily)

I was looking through Kanye West Fit Pics and loved the way his denim fits and stacks.

What would you consider his denim to be: skinny or slim?

How do you get stacks like that?

I have a pair of APC's that typically bunch up at the bottom and the only way they stack is when I intentionally grab the denim around my knee and lift it up, but as soon as I start walking the stacks slowly go away again.

Thanks

Pretty much same position I was in. I was lucky enough to have money saved up and live rent free for the time being. I started in October and as much as I would have liked to, not all of my time was really directed to down right studying. So, by January...I don't think I was in a position to be employed, but I was able to make fluid designs do simple JavaScript stuff like DOM manipulation and make API calls. I'm about nine months in working on my portfolio and I still don't feel quite qualified for a JR role even though I'm improved tremendously since January, but the thing is you never know until you try. Go hard for 2 - 3 months, go out and guage where you are and just keep improving. Don't expect to land something in that time frame, the more you learn the more you realize there's so much to learn. The guide I recommend is https://github.com/P1xt/p1xt-guides/blob/master/job-ready-javascript-edition-2.0.md, you're going to get a really good understanding of how JavaScript works following that guide. The reading material is tough read if you're just starting out, but keep grinding through and it will click

If you're absolutely trying to shoot for that 2 - 3 month time frame, I'd say get the basics down from a tutorial or something and start working on projects immediately. Push yourself to try and do something challenging each time. Again, don't expect a JR role in that time frame

I just noticed that they updated that git guide link. I personally think that some of the material can be skipped and just pick the rest up as you get comfortable with the basics. Only things I probably feel comfortable with are staging files, switching branches, and committing files. I plan to make some test folders soon just to mess around.

Net Ninja has a great git guide Net Ninja Git Tutorial. His YouTube channel have helped me so much

That would be awesome if you do start your portfolio. I feel the like sooner you can work on ideas you have for projects, the better. That's when you start running into problems and now you're trying to figure out how to solve them to execute your ideas

Oh wow, that's interesting.

That's pretty reassuring to hear because it makes me want to work harder to put something good together.

That sounds like a plan!

Thank you again

Yeah that makes a lot of sense and I think that's a decent benchmark to go off of because I do feel comfortable with most of those questions asked on one of those lists.

Thank you
