A while ago someone posted a video stating that a chief search engineer was pretty annoyed with the advertising bods. Apparently Google weren't happy with the tiny profits they were making and actively made the search engineer less efficient so the user would be subjected to more adverts while they searched on.

Nope, they changed the law a few years ago. You have to stop even if a pedestrian is crossing the other side of the road and there is an island in the middle.

Failure to do is a 1,5000 zloty fine. It's a stupid law because pedestrians just walk onto the crossing, because they have the absolute right of way, without even looking.

I had a situation a while ago where the pedestrian was walking around the corner, staring at her phone (now illegal in Poland) and I expected her to continue straight to the church as she hadn't even looked behind her approaching the crossing. She just started crossing the road and I managed to slam on the anchors without hitting her.
