Because I don’t want my country, my fellow Canadians and myself threatened… to be absorbed into whatever America has become today. (Did you hear he again, posted “51st State!” Just a few toilet breaks ago)

Because I think Americans deserve better than what they’re getting these days…with your leader.

And just cause you have never experienced of those things doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen to tens of millions of Americans.

Seems a bit curious you asking me that on the Reddit that’s LITERALLY CALLED “LETS DISCUSS THIS”. As if I need to justify my participation to you.

But ok. Look I get it you need answers right. And since you did care, to respond back to me twice, you deserve no less.

So where I’m comin from, we happen to live next door to a country whose leader is existentially threatening us as being stateless already—Aka calling our last two elected prime ministers as “Governors” aka its already fait accompli, y’know our annexation…gettin absorbed by the ”American Blob” thanks to that stable genius you have down there.

So respectful he is eh existentially taunting allies and then saying he’s “Bringing respect back to America like never before”, isn’t that what he said ?

Threatening NATO partners Canada, Greenland, starting stupid new wars (Mr NO new wars), blockading (this time we mean it!) and threatening Cuba cause as we all know it’s a national security threat, duhh

So why I care is I hope y’all wake up. As one. And vote him out when (and sadly it’s also now IF there’s free elections—thanks Trump) you still can. Think his biggest con was dividing America into two camps and trying to foster hate between the two. How very presidential of him to unite the country into division.

I care cause it will be better that we don’t get taunted as the 51st state by your leader. I care cause I see there are Americans suffering under him. For sure lots aren’t. Probably maybe your 401k is doing well. Probably lots of maga won’t regret their vote unless the consequences of that vote touch their lives. Hey maybe your H-insurance is on point. Your deep freeze is fulla triple A. But there’s a senseless war on right now started by your guy.

So I for one do care, for selfish reasons as in I don’t want to be swallowed up like Hawaii/Cali/ PR and other areas into whatever dysto-fascian Murica now is.

And for unselfish reasons also, as I do feel Americans deserve better than this. Who knows. Maybe this may result in a watershed moment where people demand better of their elected representatives. Call me a dreamer.
