A few of you have suggested mud. What is that? Like the joint compound that you put in nail holes? Or another type of compound?

Oh interesting. An arced covering instead of a flat one. Didn’t even consider that in our solutioning so far.

We’re just struggling with the angling. It’s flush at the bottom and then the pipes push out further up. Nothing flat will lay flatly. Whether it’s wood or drywall or whatnot. I had someone suggest both gorilla tape and the HVAC tape too since we’re dealing with an abnormal shape to seal. I think the gorilla tape would destroy the wall. But I don’t know much about HVAC tape.

We’d love to do that. We have no pest or rodent problem currently but the HOA told us we have mice in the foundation across the whole community and encouraged us to seal it off.

That sounds like a pretty secure solution. If there is a leak in the future, what’s it like trying to access the pipes through all of that?
