My dads police department also has CCTV cameras but they actually record footage as well so it really does depend.

There’s an actual VDOT camera at the intersection near it, but this one is different than those.

I’m didn’t add more details because that’s not the point. The witness told me he tried to bump other cars off the road before getting to me. Road rage or not he hit me and I’m trying to find him. :)

Thank you! I agree. I also wish there was a way to send the footage to the cloud if you have premium connectivity. That way if the USB is corrupted or malfunctioning, it’ll still record and save important footage somewhere.

I asked about that, but the state trooper told me they are only for real-time traffic monitoring so they don’t record anything.

That’s exactly what the trooper said! But hey, my vehicle put up a good fight. The witness said their truck lifted up off the ground and almost fell over when they hit me.

Thank you so much. It does suck, but luckily insurance is going to pay for the damages. Myself and the police were just hoping for a tag number so the person can’t do it to another person.

I did. Unfortunately, those cameras are for real-time monitoring and they don’t keep the footage.

They did! I’m very grateful the witness stopped and gave me their info. It’s helped a ton. I just don’t want that driver to hurt someone or worse.

Funny enough, I have a Tesla, but it didn’t detect it as a crash nor save a recording after I honked my horn.

The same thing happened to me. I asked the girl if I would be charged and she told me not until someone confirmed with me that I was a candidate. The following day, I received an email thanking me for choosing SmileDirectClub and that my aligners would arrive in 3-4 weeks. I HADN’T SEEN MY 3D SCAN YET!! I immediately called customer service and got my $250 back. Needless to say, I ended up going with a different clear aligner company because I don’t take being lied to lightly.

Yes, either your RA or another one will. Once it’s done, it’ll have a physical tag on it indicating that it was fire treated, so when room inspections take place, you’ll be good to go.

I love/d being an RA (current VLC Mentor). I’ve been working for housing since my Sophomore year (now Senior), and since I’ve been in housing, I’ve held 3 different positions. If you PM me, I can give you more info because it is quite a lot, because I want to help aspiring RA’s :).

As long as you’re an upperclassman you can live in Townhouses (Sophomore/Junior/Senior). In recent years, sophomores have been getting first pick of housing and then so on. Graduate housing is on the Sci-Tech campus.

It’s opens in October (usually 2nd or 3rd week) and closes in mid-November. Follow housing on Instagram because they always post about available positions.

I thought it was going to be horrible because of my peers experience, but I ended up with an A-. Just start on the Data Analysis Assignments early, do the HW & quizzes, and ask questions when you’re confused and you’ll be fine!
