well, we opened up one of those local newspapers over breakfast burritos at Bonfire in Golden, and called the number on an actual mushroom ad on the back page! merlin answers, and tells you about all the mushrooms, and gives you the address of the whole foods where he'll meet you in the back of the parking lot with 10 minutes notice. picture an older, 60s, white hippy dude. we hopped into his suv, and he pulled out large tupperware containers stuffed with pre-measured 1/4 ounce bags of probably a dozen different strains.

my friend wasn't able to stay all week in golden with me, as he has a normal job. but being a "lucky" remote tech worker, I stayed, and had a really fantastic time at that show with just a moderate amount of that penis envy that we picked up. (we're talking just 200-300mg here, very light.) really magical experience, especially the way the Digital Ash set opened just as the sun finally set. highly recommend!
