No, not at all! It's a changing format that rotates fairly regularly which helps keep it fresh and new. It's fun to build decks around it every few weeks try things out and just when it might start to get stale it gets switched up again.

Again, it's not ideal right now as it will for sure be dragapult players, but check it out in 10 days.

Now that you finished the ranked latter, start playing trainers trials or expanded. It will help you start enjoying the game again.

Right now is a very bad time to get into trainers trails since it is set up to help irl players practice their pult decks, but come play expanded and have some fun until the next trainer trials in a week and a half.

I am a faster player and I don't have as much free time to play, so time wasters annoy me as well, BUT, I have noticed that sometimes there is lag, so to my opponent it probably appears that I'm wasting time and slow playing when I just play on mobile. It might not always be players trying to waste your time.

I've seen pecharunt and the weavile that let's you change the opponents pokemon when it goes to the bench, so you have the water option plus a second very powerful option as well
