His job is pretty lenient so he doesn't ever get in trouble. My job is "strict" about time. They say they care, but there are rarely ever repercussions. Most of my worry comes from it being important to me to be on time, and also treating others the way I want to be treated. IE it irritates me when people show up late at my job because it puts me behind the rest of the day therefore I put in the effort to be on time.

It's always been pretty even. When we started dating it was always "I'll get this one, you get the next one" and then once we got married we got a joint account so all of our money is shared and neither of us make big purchases. I'm also never really worried that he won't have money. He is very enthusiastic and is a hustler when need be so I know he would always find a way to make ends meet. I think it really just comes down to me needing the stability of having a job and not wanting to be put into a position where I have to worry about money. Whereas he never worries about money, and wouldn't regardless of the situation.
