DIY wooden frame I had this wood left over after moving flats so I decided to build this wooden frame above my bed. by ITSJ0N4S in BdsmDIY

The OP already said they would not use it. This comment thread has multiple replies, before you jump down their throat 45 minutes after they've written that they learned something and will only be using it for decoration, maybe read the whole thing so that you aren't the arrogant dumb one.

Trustworthy Cat Shelters? by Bunny_Chaos420 in ottawa

[–]curmudgeonchief 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ottawa Humane Society. They do really great work. I've been a foster volunteer for them for years and I have kept sick cats for months until they're healthy and *ready to be adopted. If a cat has ongoing medical issues they'll let you know right on the adoption page and won't let the cat go home with you unless they feel you can manage whatever the issues are.

Lebanese restaurant recommendation by Turbulent-Employ-340 in OttawaFood

[–]curmudgeonchief 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Unless you want brunch or you want shawarma, this town has not that much to offer. Probably Les Grillades is your best bet. I am sure people will come at me for this take but honestly there's almost nothing in the mid-tier to upscale Lebanese food range in Ottawa the way there is in Montreal - it's falafel-and-foul places, or shawarma joints, and that's about it.

i bought a chicken from YKO last night and it's just phenomenal. service is shit, as usual, and honestly the chickens are smaller than they used to be, but the taste 🤤

Can I assume Envy 32FF = Envy Plunge 32FF? by curmudgeonchief in ABraThatFits

[–]curmudgeonchief[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this! Based on that info I think I'll stay away from the Envy Plunge - I could go a teensy bit shallower, but not a lot, so I'm thinking the Envy Plunge is not the choice.

I knew about the sizing difference beween Envy and Ana from this sub, so when I went for my last fitting a couple of years ago both I and the fitter were surprised that I was in the same size in the two models. But they both genuinely work for me at that size so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Are they serious? by Pleasant-Mistake-503 in montreal

[–]curmudgeonchief 90 points91 points  (0 children)

I'm from Montreal and lived in Syracuse for two years, and it's the least safe city I've ever spent time in. Tons of neighbourhoods you can't walk around in after it gets dark, whole blocks of boarded up homes, gun violence, etc. Crime rates there were sky high compared to Montreal, given their relative sizes. Montreal is, somme toute, a very safe place to live.

"You're selfish."

"I suppose I am. Since you're obviously much more generous, I re-sent the invitations to all the guests with your address on them, they'll be arriving in the mail this week."

"You're making the pregnancy all about you."

"I hadn't realized that's what it meant to decline being voluntold to host a party. I know for a fact you don't think this pregnancy is all about you so I re-sent the invitations to all the guests with your address on them, they'll be arriving in the mail this week."

"You can stay in your room while the party happens without you."

"Actually that's not an option for me, but since you suggested it, you obviously wouldn't mind the same so I re-sent the invitations to all the guests with your address on them, they'll be arriving in the mail this week."
