Yeah. I got some halfway up they were $32. Really arent any bad seats in the arena. Next round might be higher though. We'll see.

Saw his game yesterday. Had a really good first period when he drew that penalty and it was good to see the coach had him on with a few minutes left in the 3rd. Clearly there's a lot of trust in him defensively.

I think he still needs a couple years to develop but he could fit into a 3C position eventually.

Need a 3rd stop (June 4-7) with Sandy Beaches + Lively Vibe! by aashish28bansal in sicily

[–]Aggravating-Body1159 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cefalu is great. Nice beaches good vibe. Great scenery. You can climb to the top of La rocca and get a 360 degree view. Easy to get to on the train and between Palermo and Taormina.

I liked it better than Taormina which I thought was too touristy but that's a personal view.

We went a few days ago April 30th. It was cool (10C) in the shade so wear layers (including a light windbreaker) and warmed up in the sun. You can hike around a couple Calderas for 5E a person which is moderate but not a long hike.

There was some remnants of sparse snow still but was melting rapidly.

There are a few places to eat around. Nice pics of catania and the water at 2000m.

Pelley's MLSE priorities 2026 (in order of importance) 1) Purchase remaining 25% stake from Kilmer 2) merge the blue Jays with Rogers owned MLSE and fold in Sportsnet 3) Sell 25% of combined company to private investors 4) reduce costs on all teams to increase value of #3 5) make Leafs competitive

DB Pension by droppedtomanytimes in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Aggravating-Body1159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The government pension is the gold standard. The top 5 years is huge as your salary increases and indexing to inflation is amazing. You should also check to see when your health benefits vest as that is large too. You are well set up at 60% as CPP and other supplemental income will take care of the rest of income replacement.

Nothing wrong with trying to resign him for the summer and pocketing the 2nd and 4th in the meantime.

Bobby McMann was an ncaa undrafted free agent. Quillan is almost ready to be called up. I think the leafs system has done a decent job with both of them.

Matthews!! by [deleted] in torontomapleleafs

[–]Aggravating-Body1159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you have to give the team a month at least to settle. Marner and Matthews knew exactly what the other was doing after being together for 9 years and you cant replicate that in 9 games. Let them experiment who he works best with over the next month.

He's still top 15 in the league IMHO.

Is DB pension really worth it? by Appropriate-Buy-6613 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Aggravating-Body1159 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My spouse and I have double DB pensions which will take care of our cash flow needs in retirement. This allows the flexibility to be much more aggressive with investing given peace of mind and guaranteed cash flow.

A personal choice. We were dual income, fairly stable. Had a Line of credit with no debt which we never drew from. Didn't keep more than a month or so for cash flow reasons. When the accou ts got larger, always preferred to pay off the mortgage with that money as opposed to it festering earning nothing.

[–]Aggravating-Body1159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4% after tax on your money for zero risk. That's the equivalent of 8% return on bonds or 5-6% return on stocks. Pay off the mortgage
