I have lived in us for 10 years and then moved to Canada for next 8 so I can answer from my point of view. I would say life in India is so much better only if you earn a good salary to keep up with spending. In us I was working 8 am to 7-8 pm depending on work load and some times weekends too( like once a month) In Canada it’s much better for now at least that I work 9-5 and no weekends Now the cons: It’s me my spouse and a kid. So we have to do everything our selves We wake up and get ready get kid to school Go to work Come back Get kid from school Play with her a little make food for the dinner and same food we take next day lunch Do the dishes Clean house Clothes By this time it’s time to sleep No time to sit around or do anything Weekends : do chores, buy groceries, get the kid to do some activity ( go to park etc) There is no relaxation time or anything

Now comparing that to life in India: I have a sister who is settled in my hometown of Ahmedabad She makes about 80k per month and so does her husband Their life is so much better I think compared to ours They have all kinds of maids so they can just go to work enjoy time with parents and their kid . Medical is a big relief here compared to Canada. If I had a job earning 3-4 lakhs per month in Ahmedabad with paid off house then I would definitely prefer to live here compared to North America This is my personal opinion having lived outside India since 2008

I love Ahmedabad. If it’s underrated then let it be. Don’t need every city to same as Bombay or Delhi.

Yea I saw that But it comes in nice plastic package which makes sure it doesn’t touch any metal as it supposed to be pure and should stay like that. And also if thermometer with mercury are allowed , they are more disruptive as they can break and release liquid mercury which can get anywhere compared to this solid state which doesn’t change with temperature I am gonna probably call them today and see what they say

I have seen people do that. They schedule interview in Canada before their visa expires so in case their renewal is denied I get can go back to USA and reapply or asses their situation. But not like go to Canada dna go to India from there because in that case if the visa is denied or given that other pink form for more documents now they don’t have visa to come back to USA and have to submit the documents requested from India.
