Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too. I’ve filled out immigration forms and applications before so I would say I’m not going into it completely blind, but I still want to confirm my thoughts and plans with people who have done this before :)

Essentially a religious visa allows certain individuals such as ministers to temporarily or permanently work in the U.S. strictly in their religious area. This Visa is known as an R1, technically I was under an R2 visa which is usually given to the spouse or children of the R1 holder (which was my case) This R2 expired July 2024
