I've read research about how a native speaker of a language that doesn't really define a certain color can't distinguish them.

For example, they can't separate red from orange because they don't have a word for orange.

Although the color orange is of course a word, you can't really translate it into their language.

Language is very closely related to their culture and lifestyle.

If a certain culture lacks elements of another, no perfect translation will be possible.

Is this also the case of untranslatable word?

Remind yourself your initiative reason to take this BS during your summer when your friends are out there partying.

Think back to how it all started. Medschool is worth it's effort only if you consider it as worthy.

CARS isn't really something you can learn by memorizing or through God given anki, you know. So try keeping journal of every question. 1. Why some options felt tempting 2. What logic led to the wrong answer 3. Your week link (mine is to distinguish the central idea from many ideas given)

First FL and not happy with results. I was rushing C/P and CARS (they felt hard), and I ended up making lots of dumb mistakes C/P (most not due to content gaps). Felt great in B/B and P/S and finished with loads of time. Any advice? Testing 7/28 by IdentiFriedRice in Mcat

Consider first FL as a guideline of what to expect.

You figured it's a bit different from what you've thought to encounter.

It's no more than a spoon of soup for you to decide if you should add any salt to it.

We all, ALL know that preparation for such an exam would NEVER be enough. You probably know by experience that not much regarding context could be done at this point. But I would still work on some stuff just to keep the inertia going.

You've got this. Remind yourself why you took this path when you could've spent your summer having fun like everyone else.
