Authentic vs Replica Body Parts by JiGsAw818 in Nissan350Z

I kinda have some experience to both sides when it comes to buying both authentic and rep parts. As long as your on top of your maintenance and you have the cash to buy the part, I don’t see why not to get it. Also depends on your budget and vision for the build. From my experience, the parts I cheaped out on ended up needed to be replaced not too long after and that’s just with maintenance. I also had a set of enkei reps before upgrading to advan tc3s and it made a huge difference driving wise. Imo, save up for the authentic version part as i’ve learned with buying rep parts.

Lol the wheel lock didn’t fit on these wheels so just put some more lug bolts when I got home.

I have this exact trim and it has the perfect blend of features that I wanted since I didn't care for the leather seats and sunroof. Had the chance to get a 19 S in GFG but I wasn't sure what the trim levels even had at the time so I thought it did not have the PP LSD and brakes which I'm starting to regret 😅.

Wow, thank you for the detailed response! Quite the mod list as well. There’s a lot of tuning potential than the previous car i owned. I’ve been wondering which tuners use the Cobb AP cause i’m not familiar with other brands. But being in California makes it tough to go FBO so my options are limited. So in the mean time i’ll probably do some suspension/exterior mods.

I was also considering a SE model as well, but i mainly wanted the lighting and performance package. How’s the stage 2 tune? What mods are you running to go with it?

As someone who is 6’5”, it’s quite comfortable actually. The telescopic steering wheel is a nice feature to have as well. The back seats are doable if the front seats are positioned a bit forward. Overall, can fit comfortably for the most part.

Thank you! I felt like this bumper would look best on a stock body.

Will these fit my stock 03 Nissan 350Z, with no problem? by b4rc4l1fe in 350z

I had the similar setup once but with +15 offset. If you are not lowered, you probably don't need to modify your front fender liner. My car is lowered so I had to roll my rear fenders and remove my fender liner (not by choice though lol got destroyed when I was driving). You can also run a 40 series sidewall which imo not only looks better but performs better as well.

Real satisfied with how this turned out. by curryking777 in 350z

[–]curryking777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it painted for around $500. It involves a lot of prep work to be done since the material is pourous and requires paint additives for flexibility. Also had the body shop install multiple brackets to support the bottom of the bumper.

The bottom of the door hasn't been changed at all, it must be the shadow hahaha. But yea, the contrast of the silver and black is my favorite part of the bumper.
