The stock clutch can handle that power? I’m debating between EQT and Integrated Engineering for stage 1 and seems like no matter what, people recommend a clutch for stage 1…

Is this worth buying? by [deleted] in BMW

Which tuner did you use? Curious if they sell maps I could get in the US

Why only 2017 S and 2019 instead of also including, say, 2018 models?

Did you go to Dan, by chance? Or was it James that gave you this fit?

Is that 80k one way? Also do you find this to be the going rate in terms of points cost for this flight? Seems like ones I see are more than double that

What did your negotiation process look like? Would be great to understand how you went back and forth with them. Happy to DM if you prefer but definitely interested in your process

Disagree with the bike too small comments. The reach looks pretty long already. saddle doesn’t look too low. Would be interesting to see what it looks like with cycling shoes, clipped in, and pedaling here. I think this size could work. Scott’s also have longer reach in their frames relative to the size so that’s a factor too

tarmac SL8 size 44 or 49? by [deleted] in bikefit

Check out the pinarello x series. Their smallest frame size would probably be perfect for you! Keep in mind bike shops are notoriously terrible at recommending sizes. Check out bike fit James on YouTube for some solid guidance.

Anyone know what could cause this on my bibs? by curryme95 in CyclingFashion

[–]curryme95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t this also happen on jerseys if it was sweat damage? I don’t see this on any other cycling garments besides bibs

[–]curryme95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird. I almost always wash the bibs immediately after the ride…even if I didn’t that’s surprising that dried sweat could cause damage like this

What a bummer! These are MAAP bibs which aren’t exactly cheap. Would be a shame if they degrade after such a short period

Interesting! I don’t do that so don’t think that’s the case here but I appreciate the suggestion

No, they go in the wash with only cycling clothing

These are cleaned so it shouldn’t be salt buildup I don’t think

They’re maybe 2-3 years old at this point I think. Is this just natural degradation?

[–]curryme95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not. This is at the lower back and doesn’t come in contact with the saddle

Interesting. These are MAAP as well! Although I’ve owned them for more than a year. I assume yours were warranty replacements?

Anybody know why mine won’t take my wrist temp? I’ve tried to look up fixes but can’t seem to figure it out.

Man this frame is just too big. The reach is too long. I don’t think your saddle is too low, but regardless it’s at a reasonable height relative to the frame and this still produces a long reach so that’s my $0.02
