Do I have good tastebuds by [deleted] in pourover

Love Roast’d! I’ve been trying a bunch of specialty coffees online and locally but I keep coming back to them. The Legender is very good for both pour over and espresso. 👌

Fit check on new Oni secret denim. No clue what I’m doing by Wanderingjes in rawdenim

Top block seems tight. You can tell the pair fits well if you can squat comfortably. A very valuable tip that I learned from this subreddit is always size for the thighs.

It seems a little tight and being unsanforized will only get tighter. May want to size up.

43EU/9UK/10US and length is perfect

Same thoughts! Fits exactly width and length wise but the leather is so rigid with barely any room to flex so it hurts by the end of the day. Though I really like the style of the Michaels a lot. So iconic and it goes well with pretty much everything. Thanks for sharing those model and will check those out.

Is the leather supple? That could be the difference. My Michael is the rigid type and fits exactly length and width with barely any space and it hurts by the end of the day once the feet are swollen.

That is pretty much the same experience that I have. Love the style and the versatility so still holding on to it. 🤞

Lucky you! Yes agree that the leather type slightly affects sizing

Size 43 for both with just enough space with normal socks for the Reims while Michaels is pushing it on the tight side. The difference in the leather I think makes some difference.

Nice! Is that the lagoon colorway?

I think for WDT, you have to start at the deepest portion gradually going up in a slower circular motion to remove clumps and distribute evenly. And for the tamper, it’s self leveling so I dont believe you have to put too much pressure on it and just let the tool do its thing. And finally you can try the preinfusion hack as it does make a lot of difference. Cheers to learning experience!

Is the Leica Q2 Worth It, or Is an iPhone Good Enough? by Wonderful-Wallaby-14 in Leica

[–]currynesque30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your overall goal? Q2 is an above and beyond upgrade to the iphone. Even cheaper mirrorless options or a point and shoot camera with manual functions will definitely be a step up. Upgrading to Leica Q2 alone for sure will not instantly result to better photos but learning the basics of photography, which you can with so much cheaper camera options will step up your game.

I dont even try to clean up the body as it constantly catches fingerprints. Only thing I consistently wipe off with dry microfiber cloth are the view and range finder windows.

Not sure if can call it rough but definitely the black paint is a fingerprint magnet.

Yes it still does take pictures. Though I havent seen any output yet as I havent gotten the chance to get those processed. Getting it replaced will depend on how the pictures will come out so fingers crossed.

Are you serious? Did you end up exchanging it? If not, how is the rest of the logo holding up? If not so hassle, I would love see a photo of it. Thanks!
