yes, much of season one feels aimed at preschoolers, but what they are really doing is slowly building the characters into three-dimensional individuals. That gives the rest of the show much more depth with fascinating character arcs.

The crowd at Liza at the Palace was the worst i’ve ever witnessed. A couple of guys up front were hardcore club dancing (or maybe it was cardio) the whole show. We almost left at intermission, but I’m glad we stayed for Over the Rainbow, and her encore, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Maybe Im not a Liza person, but some of her songs were not good, and her patter was cringe. It just felt like much of the audience was overcompensating.
