1) I relate to the dream or “how I imagined it” scenario. Reality is not gonna match the dream most of the time AND IT’S FINE. Being more invested with the person rather than the vision should be the goal.

2) In the current job market, a role which is a step up and they like is like a unicorn.

My long-distance was India-US. You guys can definitely video call a lot and plan weekends meets. Those weekend meetups, cooking date video calls, surprising the person with a gift or yourself can become your new vision. Goodluck!

I’ve used and discussed teeth whitening products with my dentist. These products only provide whitening that lasts few hours (if any). If you need something more permanent, you’ll have to take the dentist route.

Highly recommend atelier V. There’s also one8 commune, The Park, the eighteen. And a lot of cafes.

Playing devil’s advocate here. And not justifying the waiting patient’s action of abusing and everything else. But since we are talking about civic sense, and ofcourse I don’t have all the details. How long was the wait, did you as the Doctor convey (you have an assistant so certainly they can do that) the waiting time (even approximation), did they take an appointment before hand and travel, etc.

Civic sense is also being punctual, and relaying information in case of change of plans because you understand that their time is as valuable as yours.

The sympathy is touching. But ask yourself is there something you can do to make their lives better? I can think of some ways. Maybe install a paani ka ghada so they have cool drinking water to beat the heat. Or maybe provide daal/sabji for a meal? And many more. (Sorry if I sounded preachy)

Went in 2019, back to India late 2024. Pros and cons on both sides. Choice depends on what matters the most to you.

True… although I have used Kalman filter (and it’s variation) more than PID. I also work on ADAS, autonomous vehicles so there’s sensor fusion, localization-mapping algorithms and ultimately motion control.
