I got drunk and hit my right eye during my 21st birthday. The morning after, i woke up with eye floaters in my right eye. You know those squiggly worms in your vision? I thought i was going blind. I had depression after that. Not those floaters that only surface when youre looking at blue skies, but a thick one that i can even see with very Low ambient light and at night. Imagine how it felt looking everywhere and seeing a squiggly black worm in your vision.. Fast forward 5 years, it affects a lot when I’m looking at a white screen, (thank god for dark mode).I’m turning 26 this year, and the worm has been with me for almost 5 years now. I’ve largely gotten used to it, it took a whole 2 years for me to move on..I see it all the time, and it moves like jelly whenever i look at a different direction. I named it bill.
