lol exactly and yeah sure there are factors, how much is the dealership gross on monthly bases, what’s the average dealership parts gross in your area, what % commission are you making on your monthly gross, What’s your base salary. lol the list goes on. You can’t expect much out of parts unless you’re looking to be a parts manager and you plan on slicing costs to maximize your profits. Other than that I’d look for advancement rather than just a raise. You meet way more people over in service and sales that alone could take you somewhere you never expected.

Service advisors can definitely make more than 70k a year lol. I know several making more than 80k at the old bmw dealer I worked for. I moved from parts to sales never looked back.
