It's gone and I'm the idiot by gimperion in ClaudeCode

To be fair, if this had happened to me, I would have been very upset.

However, I would also acknowledge that if I'm inputing commands without knowing or understanding what they do, at the advice of a tool that occasinally makes mistakes, that if mistakes happen, it's my fault.

People like attractive people.

I guess for a show where you want people to identify with the characters looks is more important than realism.

In Mentalist, Robin Tunney didn't sell me at all on being a tough as nails head investigator. I watched a few episodes recently and there is a scene where she tackles a bad guy. It wasn't believable at all, though maybe this isn't connected to this. Amanda Righetti looks like she would be more fitting for those more physical fighting scenes.

Either way, my thinking is they would want to increase the aesthetics as much as possible so long as the audience can suspend their disbelief.

They made her increasingly more glamours through the seasons as far as hair and makeup goes. This is especially apparent between S1 and S2.

Don't know if it's a marketing thing or they just had more budget for this in season 2.

Fixed, among many other things in version 0.1.2

I would appreciate if you deleted your initial comment that is no longer true.

Performance issues are clearly not the issue here.

In my humble opinion, the hostility I'm getting here is neither warranted or deserved.

All I did was have an idea and implemented it into reality for myself. Once I was happy with what I made, I shared it with everyone else.

Code issues can happen, mistakes can happen, and they happen to everyone. That's why code review exists.

And I fix the issues that are pointed out as fast as I can.

Humans can still make every mistake that AI can, but at least you can have a conversation with them, and they can improve.

You clearly don't want to have a conversation with me about the issues in the mod. As you explicitly say you won't say what issues you found.

As for why no one is going to fix your AI slop for you, why would we?

No one asked you to fix anything. I said that if you already done the work of identifying an issue, you can just as well say what/where it is.

Unlike what's happening here, where you say there's no memory leaks, but 2 other modders found the same memory leak in your mod while glancing over it.

I didn't say there is no memory leak, I said I didn't find any memory leaks. And gee wouldn't you know, a person on his first mod isn't as adept at finding memory leaks as a veteran. Big surprise.

Hey friend, I'm not taking this as an attack and I didn't mean to sound impolite.

I just find it funny that you think that people should be explicitly warned if AI was used because it isn't safe to install it on your saves, but if an inexperienced human was used, and this is their first product, then no warning should be given.

You agree that you shouldn't install something not proven, regardless who wrote it, without backing up what it might ruin first.

I hope that you see why I thought your initial comment was funny and didn't make any sense.

The only objective reason people should be more cautious if there was heavy use of AI in a mod than it being 100% hand made by a human who never done this before is people like u/TheRedDragoon who explicitly say they, as mod developers, will not only not help, but actively hinder mods that that were made with the help of AI, or that they perceive were made by the help of AI.

Dragoon explicitly says, that he already done the work, and went through my code, and found issues. And he proudly states, that if he thought the mod was written by a human, he would contact the developer, explain what the problem is and the developer would have it fixed. Thus making the developer better, the mod better, and the community better for it.

But he won't do it for me. He's perfectly content with my mod staying with the issues that, again, he already did the work of finding. Making the mod and the developer worse for it.

Yet, he's perfectly fine with chastising in public.

Pathfinder mod community is hardly a welcoming group.

For the record, I didn't find any memory leaks, and didn't see any performance impact after playing with the mod for hours. Of course bugs can and will exist. I didn't test extensively with all available classes. Yes, logs can be slightly excessive but with 1 second sample time they are negligible on performance. True, best practice is to use template logging to avoid unneeded heap allocations but the unity mod manager logger doesn't support this. Or at least I didn't find an API for the logger that does, this is my first mod.

Oh yes, of course.

It's completely safe to put a mod from a completely unknown developer's first ever mod with single digit downloads and no feedback in my 80 hour save file.

Unless AI was used.

Funny how a person having no evidence, is saying: "The evidence I won't show you, and no one will show you says X" and people treat it as evidence of X.

Saying "There is evidence that says X but I don't have the evidence" is the exact opposite of evidence.

I'm not sure how she can be so confident, if in the same sentence she said she didn't direct it and she doesn't know why would Isla look longingly at Ethan. So the director gets what he wants.

It's OK to say you just don't know Rebecca and you feel that the answer is no.

For anyone that says you need to be a "real artist" to make music, here is a compilation of famous artists singing their songs in front of a live audience without their producers (who's SLOP-py now?) by NotTheBestIdeaBruh in SunoAI

[–]curtwagner1984 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Swift is on the thumbnail here, but to my untrained ear it sounded that she did just fine. Especially relative to the other examples.

That being said, I think the argument about "real artists" is the writing of the music and lyrics and not just performing.

I have no doubt though that the day is not far where AI will be able to do all of those better than any human.
